
Qualification Criteria
The competition will feature 10 elite teams, each consisting of three riders: one professional as the team captain, one amateur or junior and one top FEl rider-competing in a Nations Cup-style format.
The competition will take place over three days of world-class sport hosted by Jan Tops at Tops International Arena, home of the Global Champions Tour.

Professional Hunter Rider & Team Captain

Top three (3) riders from the 2024 USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship results

Five (5) additional riders based on the USHJA World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) year-end standing for 2023 & 2024 combined

Should the top 5 riders elect to not attend, these 5 sports will be filled by moving down the combined 2023 & 2024 WCHR List

Junior/amateur rider

Junior or Amateur Rider is selected by each Team Captain

Junior or Amateur must meet one (1) of the following certificate of capability:

Have been Champion or Reserve Champion at a USHJA WCHR event in a 3’6” division between January 1, 2024 and April 1, 2025

Have completed a USHJA WCHR International Hunter Derby

International FEI Rider is selected by each Team Captain

Team Captain must provide a horse for the selected International FEI Rider to participate on

International FEI Rider must meet one (1) following criteria listed below:

Ranked in the Top 50 of the Longines World Ranking List as of April 1, 2025

Have represented their country at the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games, World Cup Finals or an FEI Regional Championship.
